Together for children

Millions of children across the world live without the protection of a caring family. This makes them vulnerable to exploitation, trafficking, child labour or early marriage, and other forms of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, often within their own home. These local issues form a global crisis.

We are pioneering a new approach to solve this crisis by bringing together practices and research from local and national contexts to our global alliance. We then adapt and share these ideas to create a range of solutions to the crisis of children living without families.

Welcome to
Family for Every Child!

When a child grows up without a family they often face greater risk of malnutrition, abuse and exploitation. A lack of access to education and being denied the chance to play in childhood may mean they fall short of their future potential.

In 2014, EveryChild worked with many of its former local partners and other grassroots organisations to create Family for Every Child; a global alliance of 27 local organisations working together to help vulnerable children and families.

EveryChild and Family for Every Child became one organisation on 1 October 2016. This reduced running costs so we could spend more of our supporters’ donations where it matters the most – on helping vulnerable children and families.

Working under the name Family for Every Child, we are now moving towards our shared vision – a world where every child can grow up in a safe and caring family.

Thank you.
