Blue Umbrella Day

The first-ever Blue Umbrella Day took place on 16 April, raising awareness of the need to better protect boys from sexual violence. We were featured in the news around the world, and ran activities with children and caregivers in countries as diverse as India and Paraguay.

Kinship care in New Zealand

We’re pleased to introduce New Zealand’s Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG), whose excellent work with kinship families we are promoting. GRG contributed to a submission for the United Nation’s Day of General Discussion, specifically focusing on kinship care in New Zealand.
